I think this implies that to some extent the Phoenix is a life giving force and exists partially in the real world. The crown imagery most immediately reminds me of the name of the ultimate state of the Phoenix, "The White Phoenix of the Crown". While our heroes fight in our stories to better their world, there are people out here in ours doing the same.)Īnother thing I think is interesting is the way Loki says look to "the 5th business" in reference to crowns.

The ultimate enemy, then, is our own flaws as a global society, and as to The Enigma's future, I guess that's sorta up to us since if we cease to exist so do our stories. In this sense I think The Enigma can be read as The Universe, as in ours, the definitive article (In the same vein as The Beyonder). Furthermore, w/in Marvel continuity the word "enigma" is closely associated with Eternity/The Universe ala the Enigma Force. And since The Crown/Enigma is a glimpse of our world I think the images can be read as representative of real life issues: Consumerism, War, Climate Change, Disease/Covid, Overreliance on Technology. AND THE WORLD OF CREATION BEGINS," in reference to where the enemy hides I think he's really just distinguishing the comic book world (the world of action) and our own world where those comics get made (the world of creation). I think when the TOAA says "THE PLACE WHERE THE WORLD OF ACTION ENDS.
